Do you travel frequently? Are you happy with the accessibility and disability friendly service that you find in hotels? If not, you might be interested to learn about Scandic Hotel's approach. Scandic has appointed a disabled person, Magnus Berglund as Disability Ambassador to help drive their hotels to be more aware of the needs of disabled travelers. I did an interview with Magnus (http://www.wheelchairpride.com/2009/12/interview-with-magnus-berglund_08.html) on my blog.

If this subject is of interest to you, please leave a comment or any questions for Magnus on my blog. Not here, rather beneath the interview with Magnus on my blog.

If there is enough interest in this subject, I inttend to forward the interview to other hotel chains and ask what they are doing to improve their services for disabled guests. I will also invite the hotel represtatives to do similar interviews.

It will be interesting to see which other hotels are working to make their disabled guests more comfortable. It may also help to motivate some hotel chains to move in a similar direction as Scandic.

Thanks for your help!
