I thought it was getting a bit crowded down here :), even George W is down here at the moment, though he seems a bit confused (http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2007/09/08/2027414.htm), jet lag perhaps.?
I have always wanted to go down under. Almost made it in 1974 for a two year teaching assignment but my wife came up pregnant with our firstborn and foiled the plan.:013::011::013:

My son is currently "down under" doing a semester of "studying abroad" away from University of Denver. He's attending Griffith University at Brisbane and he's having a great time. He's in Sydney this weekend (didn't know about APEC before we scheduled) and last I heard he was climbing some big-a** bridge overlooking Sydney. He says he's met some of the nicest people while he's been there he almost wants to finish college there. He's also going to spend a week in JennyNZ's neck of the woods on his way back to the states in November.

Hi Davey
This (http://www.bridgeclimb.com/) is what he's climbing, More info here (http://www.sydney.visitorsbureau.com.au/page2-03g.html), He'll have a great time, pity APEC is on at the moment as lots of the city is cordoned off.
I have always wanted to go down under.

Just having a think that the equipment I suggested to Drew might come in handy for some hire chairs on the bridge climb!
...(Has your chair been fitted with a parachute??? A winch for some of the tougher trails? The winch might also be able to double for a bit of abseiling!)
Could use the winch to haul up the steeper sides of the bridge! The parachute to try a bit of base jumping, or the winch again for some abseiling to get back down from the top.... Hmmm, I wonder if I put the idea to the government if I'd get the funding for a fleet of geared up X5's? :011:

Nope ! Pete I really don`t believe so, I have come to the place where I think it is his natural state of mind..... You Know, I voted for the mans father....twice, I believed in the man and what he was trying to do!! I helped to stage and move the initial equipment for the first gulf war material ,between Fort Campbell ,Kentucky and the Ports of Jacksonville, Florida... through two of the biggest movers from the ports there! At that time I was a driver for Ranger Transprtation, Inc. I also voted for that dummies brother who happened to be govenor of Florida ! I should have stopped right there as two out of three isn`t bad !!! But oh no.... I had to get greedy and vote for the family mascot ....................GheezLouis.......
Anyhow Pete , not everyone is a going easterly though......my insurance agent is from Sydney and so is her husband whom happens to be a doctor as well ......and both of them spend most of their time here in the states working and their daughter stays in Sydney to care for the home front. They go home yearly just enough to keep dual citizenship.......
Who can say , you may look up some sorry morn and see me ugly hide bouncing down a road side some day ....looking to do the ole train routes...
