I feel like I just did this yesterday.... Oh yeah, I did do this yesterday! (Am I allowed to cut and paste from WCJ???:dft011:)

The short version - I'm a RBK amputee following on a number of years after a motorbike prang and now my overworked left hip is packing it in.... Been off work for the last 9 weeks doing the rounds of doctors and tests trying to sort things out. No joy! Recently acquired some wheels and am now trying to get back to work before they sack me!

I'm only new to the wheels, so will be reading a whole lot more than writing, and any writing will probably be questions!

welcome, snOOpy! Glad to have you here I know what you mean. I was a police officer, motorcyclist, stunt man (amateur), bowler dancer, martial artist, and such, got hurt on the job, left knee broken. After 5 surgeries trying to fix it, they had to do a total knee replacement that really did not work out well. Then my health started going down hil, diabetes, COPD, sleep apnea, so now I am on oxygen at night, and have a scooter to get around. Got a great wife here (Crystal Sword) and enjoy what little i can do now.

... got hurt on the job... Does that mean someone else picks up your medical bills (like insurance) or are you having to pay for everything out of your own pocket?
