Coincidence? NO! It is The Law of Attraction.
Saturday night Mrs. Sled and I went to the Southern New Mexico Speedway for a quiet (lol) evening of Outlaw Renegade Sprints, Modifieds, Super Modifieds, and Legends. Being a former off-road racer myself, I just love dirt track racing.
We were late getting on the road, then we had to stop for Mrs. Sled's new project...a very troubled young woman amputee who thinks the answer lies in vast consumption of alcohol and drugs...recently released from a private rehab and on her first nite out. Of course, she wasn't ready and took her time.
The parking at SNMS is tight. The roads are not set up for wheelchairs and the seemingly adequate handicapped parking is usually gone early, however I don't see many who are actually, visually handicapped.
I thanked God for the parking place that would be provided, knowing that this would be so, and having the sense of gratitude in my trust.
When we finally arrived, sure enough it appeared as all the handicapped spots were gone. Mrs. Sled would take me to the entrance to off-load me and my power chair, then she would park and come back in her manual chair...a daunting task, but we sure couldn't rely upon our guest to help.
(Now this trip was on a shoe-string, as our budget was strained to the max...We hit up the "cash-cow" for change to pay.)
And there, the third slot from the entrance is this spacious handicapped spot; as we unloaded two people came up to us and offered us three free entrance tickets...the whole evening cost a couple gallons of gas and $1 for a program.
This IS all about The Law of Attraction.
